Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Hikmat Mirzayev, who is on a visit to Türkiye, met with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of this country, Army General Metin Gurak, Ministry of Defense told APA.
According to the information, Army General Metin Gurak emphasized the positive impact of the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye on the development of their military cooperation, and expressed his confidence that the joint activities carried out will be expanded in the future.
Expressing gratitude for the high level of hospitality, the Deputy Minister of Defense conveyed his pleasant impressions of the meetings held during the visit.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation in the military, military-technical, military-educational and other fields, as well as on topics of mutual interest.
