"Two residential areas in Baku - Mehdiabad and Sea Breeze - do not have access to the metro and railway," Anar Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), said at a meeting dedicated to transport issues, APA reports.
The chairman said that it is already planned to introduce tram lines in these areas: "A tram line will be laid from Sea Breeze and connected to Pirshaghi station, and a hub will be created there. It is planned to lay a tram line from Mehdiabad-Binagadi direction to connect with the metro station '28 May' to provide service for passengers."
