Roles and Responsibilities:

Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring adherence to safety standards, budget constraints, and timelines. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project specifications and requirements.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain project quality.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and technical staff.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project objectives are met.

Budget and Time Management:

  • Preparation and control of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement strategies to mitigate cost overruns.
  • Establish project timelines and milestones, ensuring timely completion of project phases.
  • Utilize project management software to track progress and update stakeholders.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
  • Handle unexpected challenges and changes in project scope with agility and professionalism.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and facilitate stakeholder meetings.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety on site and implement safety training for team members.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electric, HVAC, Mechanic or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in construction/maintenance in Oil/Gas sphere.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.

Working conditions:

  • Work schedule 08:00 – 17:00; 5/2
  • The workplace is located in Caspian Plaza
  • The salary is 2500-3500 AZN (depends on the qualification)/bonuses up to 100% of the salary
