During January-August of 2023, the total export of Azerbaijan amounted to USD 26,5 bln, and export of the non-oil sector grew by 10,6% compared to the same period of last year, amounting to USD 2,4 bln, according to the September edition of “Export Overview” by Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, APA-Economics reports.
During January-August of 2023, the export of food products amounted to 616,3 million US dollars.
During January-August of 2023 export of electricity grew by 2,7 times, export of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks grew by 3,3 times, export of the ferrous metal products grew by 34,3 %, and export of fruits and vegetables grew by 7,1%.
The statistical value of the joint export of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 8,4 % and amounted to USD 641,2 mln. The value created by agro-industrial products, which occupy a significant place in the composition of non-oil and gas exports, increased by 22,4% and amounted to USD 145,9 mln compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
