Internet users in Russia report widespread service outages

Internet users across Russia have reported widespread disruptions affecting telecom companies and online platforms, APA reports citing Meduza.

According to the monitoring site Downdetector.su, the outages have impacted customers of Beeline, Megafon, MTS, Rostelecom, and Tele2.

Users have also reported issues accessing Telegram, TikTok, Google, YouTube, Steam, and Twitch.

Roskomnadzor, Russia’s federal censorship agency, said it was unaware of the cause of the disruptions. “All operators are experiencing outages, and the cause is being investigated,” the agency’s press office told Mash.
