The US is playing a destabilizing role in the South Caucasus, Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation said this while commenting on the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between Armenia and the US in Washington today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to him, the US is trying to drag new countries along.
The Kremlin spokesman stressed that Russia highly values its relations with Armenia.
"It is Armenia's sovereign right to develop relations with all countries, including the United States," Peskov added.
