The confiscated property, located on the first floor of a residential building known as the "House of Journalists", was sold at an open auction for 1 million 213 thousand 657.5 manats.
Yeniavaz.com
reports that there is no information about who purchased this property, located at the address: Bibi-Heybat settlement, Sabail district, plot 20, Yeni Salyan street, house 22.

It is worth noting that the property was first put up for public auction on November 29, 2023. The starting price of the property at the first auction was 2 million 427 thousand 315 manats. However, since the property with an area of 676 sq. meters was not sold, it was put up for sale with a 10% discount (2 million 184 thousand 583.5 manat) at the 3rd auction, which was held on February 28, 2024. It was put up for auction for the fourth time on April 1 with a 25% discount (1 million 820 thousand 486.25 manat). Since the property was still not sold, it was put up for sale for the fifth time on May 3 with a 50% discount (1 million 213 thousand 657.5 manat). After that, the item was put up for auction 6 more times, and its price did not change.
The starting price of the object, which was put up for the 12th auction on January 10, did not change and it was sold for 1 million 213 thousand 657.5 manat.

For  information, the property put up for auction was confiscated as part of a criminal case against the former executive director of the liquidated State Fund for Support of Mass Media Development Vugar Safarli and his accomplices. The property belonged to Portos LLC, which built the House of Journalists.
The executive director of Portos LLC, Nadir Mamedov, who is currently in prison, stated in his testimony in court that the founder of the company is Guler Valiyeva, the sister-in-law of Ali Gasanov, the head of the now disbanded Department of Social and Political Issues of the Presidential Administration.

It should also be noted that the inscription on the wall of the property put up for auction clearly indicates that the Kaspi Abituriyent courses, owned by Ali Gasanov's wife Sonia Valiyeva, operated there.
