Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan to agree on road map for joint action plan

The document will be signed following a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the three countries, which will be held in Ankara tomorrow, January 29, AzVision.az reports, citing Anadolu Agency. 

The parties will sign the Ankara Declaration and adopt a joint Action Plan for the upcoming period.

A road map for implementing this Action Plan will also be agreed upon.

The meeting agenda includes foreign policy and regional cooperation issues, expansion of cooperation in trade, economy and investment, development of regional transport networks, and strengthening cooperation in transport and communications sectors.

Azerbaijan will be represented at the negotiations by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, and Uzbekistan by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyar Saidov.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan told Report that the agenda of the trilateral meeting covers practically all aspects of cooperation.

"We view this platform as a very important venue for realizing the great untapped potential between our countries," said ministry representative Akhror Burkhanov.
