Azerbaijani, Georgian PMs inspected new embassy building site in Baku-PHOTO-UPDATED

On January 17, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze inspected the land plot allocated in Baku for the construction of a new building of the Georgian embassy in Azerbaijan, Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

The land plot was allocated by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 2023 in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The land plot is located at the intersection of Nariman Narimanov Avenue and Bashir Safaroglu Street in Yasamal district, Baku City.

Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia have reviewed the location where Georgia’s new embassy building is going to be built in Baku, APA’s correspondent in Tbilisi reports citing the Georgian government. It is said that construction of the building which is going to cover 3450 square meter area, will be launched soon.

According to the information, the land field where the construction will be realized has been handed over to the Georgian government’s delegations.
