Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Ankara Rashad Mammadov met with the newly appointed Turkish Ambassador to Baku Birol Akgün, Rashad Mammadov posted about this on his X account, APA reports.
The ambassador said that the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye was discussed during the meeting: “During our meeting with the ambassador, we discussed the current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye and exchanged views on the steps to be taken for their development. I am confident that we will do our best in close cooperation with my esteemed colleague to further strengthen relations between our brotherly countries.”
