Türkiye's former ambassador to Azerbaijan, Cahit Baghci, has handed over his position to the new ambassador Birol Akgun, Cahit Baghchi posted about this on his X account, APA reports.
He has noted that he has completed his nearly four-year tenure as an ambassador in brotherly Azerbaijan and returned to his homeland: "We handed over our nearly 5-year term position to Prof. Dr. Birol Akgun, the Chairman of the Turkish Maarif Foundation. I wish our ambassador to Baku, Birol Akgün, success in this blessed mission and wish him great success."
