Last year, 3,271 people were arrested for committing grave and especially grave crimes, and 216 criminal groups were neutralized in Azerbaijan, this was announced during a Board meeting held in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, APA reports.
Noted that as a result of ongoing preventive measures, in 2024, a decrease of 23.2% was recorded in the number of group-related crimes, 9% in crimes committed in public places, and a decrease of 8% was recorded in crimes committed by previously convicted individuals compared to the mentioned period.
