"Temporary Commission of Azerbaijani Parliament againts Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats, within the framework of its powers, conducts analyses of insidious activities related to the protection, integrity and security of our state from foreign threats, including those that may threaten the unity and national-moral values of the Azerbaijani people, and prepares recommendations for their exposure and prevention," APA reports citing a statement by the Commission.
“During the monitoring conducted by the Commission, the purpose and characteristics of disinformation and information operations carried out mainly on social media platforms from the territory of a neighboring state were studied, and a network was identified that systematically and organizedly participated in the anti-Azerbaijani campaign.
More than 300 accounts were involved in the campaign, of which 124 are on Facebook, 67 on Instagram, 67 on Telegram, 32 on YouTube, 10 on X and other social media platforms.
