The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) is expected to generate $5 billion 763.1 million or AZN 9 billion 797.3 million in revenue from profitable oil and gas, which are projected to be sold to enter the Fund in the 2025 budget draft, this was reflected in the opinion of the Chamber of Accounts on the draft budget for 2025 of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
It was noted that the projected revenue is AZN 4,721.7 million or 32.5% less than the actual performance indicator for 2023, AZN 400.3 million or 3.9% less than the forecast indicator for 2024, and AZN 1,870.8 million or 16% less than the expected performance indicator for 2024.
It was noted that when determining the amount to be received from the profit oil and gas projected to be sold to enter the Fund in the draft budget of the State Oil Fund for 2025, the amount of profit oil and gas falling to the share of the Azerbaijani state from the production of oil and gas in the following fields was taken into account:
