Azerbaijan has announced its proposals for the Framework Document on Cooperation on Sustainable Development with the UN, said Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli during his speech at the “High-Level Strategic Prioritization” seminar on the Framework Document for Cooperation on Sustainable Development between the UN and Azerbaijan (2026-2030), APA-Economics reports.
He proposed that the New Framework Document should cover 5 main areas: “We propose implementing the climate initiatives announced during COP29, sustainable development projects for the reintegration of the liberated territories, including SDG 18 in the document and strengthening mine safety, economic diversification, increasing exports and expanding innovation initiatives, and strengthening cooperation in the field of the fourth industrial revolution and the digital economy. The Ministry of Economy has prepared a more detailed presentation in these areas."
