The partnership between Azerbaijan and the UN has changed over the past 3 years and will continue to change, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva made this statement at the “High-Level Strategic Prioritization” workshop on the Framework Document for Cooperation on Sustainable Development between the UN and Azerbaijan (2026-2030), APA reports.
“Currently, we have four main pillars that we are committed to working on. Building stronger institutions that reduce vulnerabilities and increase resilience, promoting inclusive development related to environmental protection, addressing climate change, and empowering women and girls,” she noted.
Vladanka Andreeva emphasized: “As stated, the government is interested in continued cooperation with the UN and we believe that this cooperation will be sustainable.”
