Azerbaijanchr("39")s chr("39")Land of Firechr("39") team won the 40th Snow Polo World Cup held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, from January 24 through January 26, Olaylar reports.
The chr("39")Land of Firechr("39") team, which once again took part in the competition organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation, met the Swiss team 'The Kusnacht Practice' in the final and won the cup for second place.
The Azerbaijani team has twice won the Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz - in 2022 and 2023.
The Azerbaijani pavilion organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation also operated during the competition.
The participants could view photo and video materials from the Heydar Aliyev Foundationchr("39")s publication "Azerbaijan. In the Magic of Nature" publication of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as various exhibitions dedicated to the ancient game of chovgan.
The pavilion showcased products of various national brands of Azerbaijan - "Xurcun", representing national sweets; "Meysari, 'MEYVİ', and 'I Love Baku', which preserve the ancient history of viticulture and winemaking.
The State Tourism Agency organized a virtual trip to the sights of Azerbaijan for the guests, and AzerGold CJSC presented gold and silver coins.
