The Turkish Foreign Ministry also released information regarding the meeting and noted that the meeting agenda will focus on three main topics: foreign policy issues and regional cooperation, enhancing collaboration in trade, economy, and investment, and strengthening cooperation in the development of regional transportation networks and the transport and communication sectors.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry also added that at the end of the trilateral meeting, the Ankara Declaration is expected to be signed, along with an Action Plan outlining a concrete roadmap for the three countries to follow in the coming period.

To recall, the first trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade/Economy, and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Turkiye, and the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent on August 2, 2022.

At the first meeting, views were exchanged on issues related to foreign policy and opportunities for regional cooperation, as well as the work done to realize the full potential of cooperation among the three countries in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and transport.

As a result of the first meeting, the Tashkent Declaration was signed by the Ministers responsible for the relevant fields of the three countries, and the Foreign Ministers made press statements about the outcomes of the trilateral meeting.

With today’s meeting, the three nations aim to build on the progress made in 2022, fostering deeper ties that promise mutual benefits for all parties involved.
